My Girl Scout Cookies arrived on Saturday, and I’ve only eaten 8 Thin Mints. The reason why? Well, I went and joined Weight Watchers, and I totally forgot that the Thin Mints were on the way!! The cookies are 1 point a piece. 1 POINT! That’s a big chuck of points for a girl who only has 21 points to use up in a day. Well, technically I only have 20 points, but I went and adjusted it because I don’t think I could live off of 20 points. I know it’s probably in my head, but I’ve still lost 5.5 pounds and it’s only been 10 days. That’s a lot of weight for such a small amount of time, and trust me, I’m not starving myself or anything. It’s just working well, I guess.
My husband is also on Weight Watchers, but he’s been on it for a lot longer than I have. (And he gets 28 points a day!) He even made Lifetime for a small period of time back in the fall, but then he got injured running the Milwaukee Marathon and it turns out that it’s easy to fall into the downward spiral of not having Activity Points to burn.
Anyhow, I’m on Weight Watchers. It’s going good. I weigh in tomorrow, and the great part about joining the group online is that I can weigh in at home, which means that I can weigh in naked! I don’t have to pick out my lightest outfit and take off all my jewelry before I step on the public scale at the meetings. Of course, the downside is that I can’t mentally minus two pounds for my clothing either.

we don’t have those cookies here, just the traditional black and white sandwich cookies in the spring, but they changed the recipe several years back and now they are just like oreos.
good luck with your diet! sounds like you’ll have no problems reaching your goal.
