Highly compressed TV streaming makes HDTV look grainy and full of compression artifacts.
They have a great channel line up but that is it.
Their Internet connection is now even slower that most cable.

We previously had Tivo, which I also loved and was reluctant to switch.  But U-verse is awesome with multi room viewing of the recorded programs.
