Today I registered my new Starbucks Card online. It wasn’t that big of a deal, except that I couldn’t remember my login name so I had to plug in my email address and then Starbucks emailed me ALL of my accounts that are connected to that email address.
It turns out I have three accounts.
And each account had at least two Starbucks Cards attached to it.
I don’t even know where all of those cards are right now. Garbage can? Dresser drawer? Super secret hiding place that is so super secret that I can’t remember?
Anyway, because I had the newest card with me I was able to transfer all of the money on each and every Starbucks Card I had ever registered and put it onto the new one. I’m not sure, but I might have funneled my husband’s card balance to mine and if that’s the case — SORRY.
(Just a little bit.)
I stared with a balance of $2.74 and ended with a whopping $10.85! I can’t believe that I had that much coffee money just floating around out there on gift cards. It’s like reaching into the pocket of jeans and finding five bucks that I forgot I jammed in there the last time I wore them!
I’d better check to see if I’ve got more on other email address.

I try very hard to spend my gift cards ASAP so that doesn’t happen, but I’d be excited to find a card (or several) with some extra dough! What a find! And Starbucks nonetheless. The only thing better would be a bookstore.
Haha, I’m just as bad with gift cards/cards in general. I have a ton of border gift cards scattered around and not sure what to do with. Still- yay for over $10 of coffee drinking fun!
