I Promised to Read National Geographic

For the new year, you know NEXT year, the 2010 one, I promised that I’d read National Geographic every month. Cover to cover.

So does that mean I need to start reading in January? Or with the January 2010 issue that may or may not be in my house already?

Look at that — already you’re putting constraints on yourself. That’s why I stopped making resolutions for the new year. If it’s something I intend to do, I don’t wait for a “good” time to start; I just do it.
Maybe you could start now and ease yourself into it.
