Today we (my husband, nephews, Zoe & I) took the train to Chicago to visit the Shedd Aquarium. Here is a photo montage of our day.

Here are the kids on the train, we’d just arrived in Chicago.

Here we are in front of the shark tank. You can’t see the shark, but I’m sure there’s a huge one right behind us. That’s Ian in the burgundy sweater, and Connor in the ‘Vote for Pedro’ t-shirt.

This isn’t the best picture because of the lighting, but this is the dolphin pool. The pool looks out over Lake Michigan. How cool is that?

Not the best picture, those darn dolphins were super fast! See the two of them diving?

Here is Hubby & Zoe on our way from the Aquarium to Navy Pier. I thought the walk would be about 10 minutes, (HA!) Navy Pier looked only about a mile away, but it turned out to be a 40 minute walk. There was lots of complaining!

Here it is, the BEST part of my daughter’s day today in Chicago. She got to take the train, spend the day with her cousins, see lots and lots of really cool fish, go for a two plus mile walk along the shore of Lake Michigan. Was any of that the BEST part? Why no. The best part happened at Navy Pier, which is a mall that is built on a pier on Lake Michigan. We needed a place to sit, and found some benches near a stage in the mall. Then a juggler/balloon guy started a show and CHOSE HER to be his assistant on stage. She was beyond excited!!! And yes, she only has one shoe on, he took the other one and balanced it on his nose.
