My husband is fascinated with wild mushrooms. I have to admit that I find mushrooms disgusting to eat, yet they can be very interesting to photograph. This photo is from our June hike in the Kettle Moraine Northern Unit, Greenbush trail.

Mushrooms can be very photogenic! The NBC affiliate here has “Fungus Wednesday” during the weather segment and some of the mushroom photos sent in by viewers are really interesting.
